Description

The "Click Off" is a photography competition where participants capture images within Marin County during the contest dates pertaining to one of four categories. There is no cost to enter the competition.

2026 Dates to Remember:

Wednesday, October 14th by 3pm Click Off Photography Competition registration deadline. 

Thursday, October 15th at 6pm “Click Off - Kick Off“ will be held via Zoom. Categories will be randomly chosen by Recreation staff following the Kick Off. 

Monday, October 19th by 3pm Registered participants will be informed of their randomly selected category and image upload instructions via email. 

October 19th through November 2nd Competition dates where participants of this photography competition will capture images pertaining to one of four subject categories within Marin County. 

November 2nd by 11:59pm Image submissions due from competition participants. 

Images must be captured within Marin County during the contest dates. 

Join us for the 2026 Awards Ceremony:

Date and Time: Tuesday, December 1st at 5:30pm 

Location: Mill Valley Community Center 

About the Ceremony: Our amazing Click Off judges will be on-site to announce the 2026 winning images as well as give their professional input on the photography process. 

Participants will have until 11:59pm on November 2nd to upload their selected digital image that best represents their subject category. 

Applicants Will Be Divided Into 3 Different Age Ranges: 

Youth (10yrs & under) 

Young Adult (11yrs - 17yrs) 

Adult (18yrs & over) 

Prizes will be awarded for Best in Show for each age range and also 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place within each category. Winners will be announced in-person at the Mill Valley Community Center during the December First Tuesday ArtWalk: Tuesday, December 1st beginning at 5:30pm.
