Intro to Gel Mat Printmaking

Description

This introductory class will teach the art of mono printing with gelatin plates to create layered and textured pieces. This is a class for beginners and is an excellent foundation to explore and gain confidence in the medium. We will cover set up and care of the gelli plates as well as the steps to create basic 2 and 3 layer prints. All materials are provided and students should expect to create 3-5 prints. about the teacher Danny Marsh is a local elementary art teacher with an art and marine biology background. He loves all different styles and techniques of art, but his heart lies with printmaking.
