Art Exhibition Featuring Carol Aust Church of Our Saviour is pleased to welcome artist Carol Aust for a special exhibition featuring her moving portrait series highlighting the stories, experiences, and resilience of Guatemalan immigrants. Through her artwork, Carol explores themes of identity, migration, community, and the human experience. Her portraits invite viewers to connect with the individuals represented, honoring their journeys and the diverse stories that shape our communities. Join us on Sunday, September 6, at 11:15 a.m. following the 10:00 a.m. service for a brief artist talk with Carol Aust as she shares the inspiration behind her work and discusses the stories of the Guatemalan immigrants portrayed in her art. Following the talk, we will gather for a special Central American coffee hour reception featuring traditional dishes and refreshments. All are welcome to experience the artwork, hear the stories behind the portraits, and celebrate community through art, food, and fellowship. The exhibition will remain on display in the sanctuary throughout September and October.
